BitGo Prime and Susquehanna Crypto have announced a partnership to offer institutional clients over-the-counter (OTC) access to prediction market trades. This new service allows hedge funds, family offices, and high-net-worth investors to use digital assets held on BitGo’s platform as collateral, facilitating event-driven contracts without converting crypto holdings into cash. Liquidity will be provided by Susquehanna Crypto, with trades executed through BitGo’s OTC desk. The initiative aims to address the limitations of retail platforms by providing a structure similar to traditional derivatives trading, where assets remain in custody and positions are collateralized. This approach is designed to integrate with institutional custody systems and align with existing compliance frameworks, offering a seamless workflow for trading against crypto collateral. The move comes as prediction markets experience rapid growth, with trading volumes reaching $40-45 billion in 2025, driven by increased retail and institutional interest.
