500 BTC from Clifton Collins' Lost Stash Moves to Coinbase After 10 Years

500 BTC, valued at approximately $35.44 million, from the long-dormant stash of Irish drug dealer Clifton Collins, moved to Coinbase on March 24. This movement marks the first activity in nearly a decade for these assets, which were previously thought to be permanently lost. Collins still holds 5,500 BTC, worth around $389 million. Despite an Irish court ruling these funds as proceeds of crime, the loss of private keys had led authorities and Collins to believe the fortune was irretrievable.
