These tools assist in monitoring ESG and financial risks, simulating contract negotiations, and preparing for meetings. Stian Kirkeberg, head of machine learning and AI, indicated that future plans include allowing AI agents to make limited autonomous decisions under human supervision. CEO Nicolai Tangen highlighted the importance of AI adoption, stating that companies not embracing AI are "complete morons." The fund has invested millions in AI, resulting in returns in the billions. AI is currently used to optimize trade timing and reduce costs, with a shift in workforce roles from back-office to front-end investment anticipated, while maintaining the current employee count of 700.
