The A-share market experienced a notable rebound on March 25, with the Shanghai Composite Index climbing over 1% to close above 3900 points. The ChiNext Index also saw significant gains, rising over 2%. The combined turnover of the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges reached 2.18 trillion yuan, marking an increase of 97 billion yuan from the previous trading day. Market activity was robust, with over 4800 stocks advancing and 105 stocks hitting their daily limit, continuing a trend of high daily limit hits. The power sector led the gains, particularly in green power, with multiple stocks such as Huadian Liaoneng and Shaoneng Shares achieving consecutive daily limit increases. The computing power leasing and CPO concepts also performed strongly, while the oil and gas sector lagged, with Keli Petroleum and Tongyuan Petroleum declining. By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 1.3%, the Shenzhen Component Index increased by 1.95%, and the ChiNext Index gained 2.01%.
