Neutron, a project within the Cosmos ecosystem, has initiated the redemption process for its NTRN tokens, allowing holders to burn their tokens for a share of the USDC pool. The deposit window for NTRN runs from April 1 to April 30, with USDC redemption requests available from May 1 to June 30. Notably, the foundation's 32.4 million NTRN tokens will be excluded from this process and destroyed. As part of its transition to a long-term maintenance model, Neutron will suspend operations of its DEX and Supervault by April 17, shifting to withdrawal-only mode. Hadron Labs will oversee network maintenance until June 30, 2026, after which a manual withdrawal guide will be provided. Governance will shift to the standard Cosmos staking model, with dynamic inflation adjustments and a reduced validator set.
