When asked about BNB's ability to surpass Solana in this space, CZ emphasized that blockchain ecosystems are not in direct competition. He noted Solana's impressive recovery after the FTX incident and highlighted how utility tokens faced regulatory scrutiny under the Biden administration, while meme coins avoided such issues due to their perceived lack of value. CZ remarked that Solana's community embraced a speculative market environment, leading to the creation of platforms like PUMP to capitalize on meme coin trends. In contrast, Binance was dealing with a lawsuit from the U.S. SEC at the time. CZ admitted that if a similar platform had existed within the BNB ecosystem, it would have led to significant accountability issues. He stated that his focus remains on the BNB Chain.
