However, IOSG highlights that if wash trading is prevalent, Launchpad volumes could be artificially inflated, leading to tokens graduating based on fabricated activity curves. This would result in a surge in Launchpad volumes while PumpSwap volumes remain stable or decline, causing the correlation to approach zero or turn negative. This analysis challenges the notion of inflated trading volumes and seeks to identify the true source of valuation discounts.
