According to the report, 84% of AI professionals see positive impacts of AI in healthcare, while only 44% of Americans share this optimism. Similarly, 73% of experts are optimistic about AI's workplace impact, compared to just 23% of the public. The report, which includes data from the Pew Research Center, highlights that only 10% of Americans feel more excited than concerned about AI's integration into daily life. Additionally, 64% of Americans anticipate job losses due to AI over the next 20 years. Trust in government regulation of AI is low in the U.S., with only 31% expressing confidence, compared to 81% in Singapore. Despite these concerns, global sentiment towards AI is improving, with 59% believing AI products do more good than harm, up from 55% in 2024.
