Ripple and Stellar are noted for their potential to meet these objectives, with Ripple's institutional-grade infrastructure and Stellar's focus on accessibility and low-cost transfers. Ripple's network, known for its speed and low-cost real-time settlement, is increasingly seen as a contender for future global settlement standards. The company is also expanding its institutional footprint, supporting South Korea's first blockchain-based government bond settlement. Stellar, on the other hand, is designed for practical remittances and everyday payments, particularly in underserved regions. Both networks are positioned to play significant roles in the next generation of global payments infrastructure.
