Samsung has teamed up with decentralized science protocol Galeon to enhance its ultrasound devices with AI capabilities using anonymized data. This partnership connects Samsung's ultrasound technology with Galeon's decentralized electronic health record (EHR) platform, allowing hospitals to train AI algorithms on-chain while ensuring data privacy and traceability. Galeon's EHR system, operational in 18 hospitals including Rouen and Caen University Hospitals, ensures that raw patient data remains off-chain and anonymized, with only the AI algorithms running on-chain for auditability.
