This achievement marks a significant improvement over last year's record of 2 hours and 40 minutes. The robot's success is attributed to its innovative liquid-cooling system, developed in collaboration with suppliers like Huake Lengxin, which provided high-speed liquid-cooling pumps. This system allowed "Lightning" to maintain performance without overheating, a common issue in high-speed robotic races. The development of "Lightning" leveraged Honor's smartphone supply chain, integrating components from companies such as Lingyi Zhizao and LanSi Technology. This approach enabled rapid deployment and avoided the high costs of in-house motor and gearbox development. Alongside "Lightning," Honor introduced "Yuanqi Zai," a robot designed for in-store services, highlighting a commercialization strategy focused on retail scenarios. This strategy capitalizes on Honor's extensive retail network, setting it apart from financing-driven startups.
