Liu identified four major challenges facing the RWA sector: ensuring the authenticity of underlying assets, addressing oracle issues, overcoming liquidity constraints, and managing cross-border compliance complexities. She emphasized the need for high-quality assets and robust market infrastructure to enhance liquidity and recommended integrating compliance planning from the outset. Liu also noted the global tokenized RWA market's rapid growth, reaching nearly $30 billion in Q1 2026, marking a 260% increase year-over-year.
