Directors Tucker Tooley and Matthew Miele, following a four-year investigation, claim Finney developed Bitcoin's code while Sassaman wrote the whitepaper and other content. Fran Finney, Hal's widow, acknowledged the possibility of her husband's involvement in Bitcoin's creation. The documentary dismisses other potential candidates, highlighting the alignment of Finney and Sassaman's online activities with those of Nakamoto.
