Wildberries Launches Crypto Payment Pilot in Belarus with Whitebird

Wildberries, a leading online marketplace in Eastern Europe, has initiated a pilot program for cryptocurrency payments in Belarus. Partnering with fintech firm Whitebird, the program allows users to convert cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and TON into electronic gift cards in Belarusian Rubles. These gift cards can be used on Wildberries' platform. The initiative, supported by the government-backed Hi-Tech Park, is currently in a testing phase and accessible to a select group of users.
