The KelpDAO hack involved the exploiter using rsETH to borrow large amounts of ETH from Aave, subsequently converting the funds into Bitcoin, which has raised concerns about bad debt within the Aave ecosystem. In response, DeFi United is spearheading efforts to mitigate the liquidity shortfall and prevent further systemic risks. Other significant hacks in April include Rhea Finance with $20 million, Grinex with $13.74 million, and Wasabi Protocol.
