TON Mainnet Staking Thresholds Set to Rise to 1 Million TON

TON has announced an update for mainnet validators, indicating an increase in both minimum and maximum effective staking thresholds due to new capital inflows. Currently, the thresholds stand at 824,000 TON and 2,425,000 TON, respectively, but are expected to rise to 1,000,000 TON and 3,000,000 TON in the near future. Validators are advised to evaluate their resource allocations and consider consolidating staking positions to maintain participation. For those unable to meet the new requirements, TON suggests utilizing staking services or configuring a 1-of-2 round validation setup to optimize capital efficiency. This adjustment aims to accommodate the growing participation and ensure the network's robustness.
