Manta Network to End Staking Program by April 20, 2026

Manta Network has announced the termination of its staking program, citing the inflation-based reward mechanism as a factor diluting MANTA token value. The program will officially end on April 20, 2026, with node operators allowed to exit immediately. Following the program's conclusion, no further network rewards will be issued. In addition, Manta Network plans to assume control of Manta Pacific's Layer 2 infrastructure. This transition involves moving to a self-hosted sequencer and tech stack, aiming to enhance network autonomy and streamline operations.
