AML Software Inc. has initiated a federal lawsuit against Athena Bitcoin Inc., accusing the Bitcoin ATM operator of orchestrating a scheme to steal proprietary source code. The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, alleges copyright infringement and misappropriation of trade secrets. AML claims Athena entered agreements with entities that transferred AML's source code, which includes trade secrets protected by non-disclosure agreements.
