YZi Labs Allocates 70% of Funds to Blockchain, 20% to AI

At Consensus Miami 2026, Changpeng Zhao (CZ) announced that YZi Labs is allocating 70% of its funds to blockchain, 20% to artificial intelligence (AI), and 10% to biotechnology. CZ emphasized the importance of positioning BNB as the native currency for AI agents and urged that all blockchains should become "AI-ready" by supporting agent payments and AI protocol standards like MCP. CZ also highlighted the role of cryptocurrencies as the most native means for AI agents to conduct cross-border payments. Additionally, he revised his stance on Real World Assets (RWA), stating that while he previously considered them overvalued, he now sees them as real and currently undervalued.
