Nous Research has unveiled Hermes Agent v0.13.0, codenamed "Tenacity," featuring significant updates to improve task management and execution. The release reintroduces the Kanban multi-agent collaboration system, now with heartbeat detection, zombie process cleanup, and per-task retry limits to ensure task completion and prevent inefficiencies. Additionally, the new /goal command enhances single-agent focus by anchoring objectives during multi-turn conversations. The update also includes a rewritten Checkpoints v2 for better state persistence and automatic session resumption post-gateway restarts. Eight critical vulnerabilities have been addressed, data anonymization is now default, and the model architecture has been transformed into a plug-in system, enhancing flexibility and security.
