LayerZero is embroiled in an operational security controversy after SolanaFloor revealed that multisig wallet keys, intended to protect user funds, were allegedly used for trading McPepes (PEPES) meme coins. LayerZero co-founder Bryan responded, stating that the transactions were conducted by former members involved in the LayerZero multisig, who have since been removed. He denied any involvement in meme coin trading, clarifying that the actions were part of OFT testing.
