The issue of uranium enrichment remains a significant hurdle in U.S.-Iran negotiations, with Iran asserting its right to enrichment as non-negotiable. The United States has previously called for Iran to either remove its highly enriched uranium or suspend enrichment activities for 20 years. Meanwhile, prediction market Polymarket indicates a 7% probability that Iran will agree to halt uranium enrichment by the end of May, rising to 28% by the end of June, and 54% by the end of the year.
