The attack on April 18 resulted in a $292 million loss, with 30,766 ETH frozen by the Arbitrum Security Council. Judge Margaret Garnett has delayed the emergency hearing to June 5, requiring Aave to submit additional legal documents by May 22. The legal dispute involves claims by families of terrorism victims, represented by Gerstein Harrow, who argue the ETH should compensate for North Korean terrorism. Meanwhile, Aave initiated an on-chain vote to transfer the ETH to a multisig wallet, with the vote expected to conclude in eight days. The outcome of the court hearing will determine the final disposition of the funds.
