Even excluding the $15 billion BTC from the Prince Group case, the crypto fund seizure rate remains about 10 times that of fiat. Additionally, statistics from SlowMist and PeckShield indicate that the recovery or freezing rates for stolen funds in 2025 were approximately 13.2% and 8.3%, respectively. Binance Research emphasizes that the transparency inherent in blockchain technology is significantly enhancing the efficiency of tracking and freezing criminal funds in the crypto space.
