This new feature separates interaction from execution, allowing simultaneous front-end voice collaboration and back-end code writing. Users can issue complex voice commands, triggering a voice model named gpt-realtime-1.5, which uses WebRTC to provide real-time progress updates. Meanwhile, intensive tasks are managed by a larger back-end model, transforming AI programming from text-based interactions to real-time voice collaboration. The feature is integrated into the main codebase, pending server-side activation by OpenAI.
