Solana's On-Chain RWA Market Cap Surges 43% to $2.01 Billion

Solana's on-chain real-world asset (RWA) market cap has increased by 43%, reaching $2.01 billion. Notable contributions to this growth include BlackRock BUIDL, which rose to $525.4 million, PRIME at $361.2 million, and ONyc at $145.4 million. Additionally, Solana plans to introduce the Alpenglow consensus upgrade in its Agave 4.1 version. This upgrade will replace the existing PoH, Tower BFT, and gossip voting mechanisms with the Rotor data propagation and Votor off-chain voting mechanisms. The changes aim to reduce transaction finality time from approximately 12.8 seconds to just 150 milliseconds.
