Chairman Tom Lee announced the development on May 23, highlighting that BMNR's market capitalization has surpassed the $5.7 billion threshold required for inclusion in the large-cap index. The Russell 1000 Index is significant as many active fund managers focus their investments on its constituents, and passive index funds or ETFs hold approximately 20–25% of its total market capitalization.
