OpenClaw has launched version v2026.5.22, significantly enhancing its AI assistant capabilities. The update reduces model list API response times from 20 seconds to just 5 milliseconds, a 4,100-fold improvement, by optimizing service authentication during startup. This version also introduces support for Discord voice channels, allowing real-time input and recording access via a command-line tool. The update enhances plugin support with the standalone "meeting-notes" plugin and restructures sub-agent startup contexts to prevent data leaks. Infrastructure improvements include upgrading protobufjs to version 8.4.0 and rerouting OpenAI image generation to resolve authentication issues.
