The Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges saw a combined turnover of 2.97 trillion yuan, marking a decrease of 270.4 billion yuan from the previous day. Over 3,000 stocks rose, with more than 100 hitting their daily limit. Sector-wise, the CPO concept saw a strong rally, with Anfu Technology reaching its daily limit and major optical module companies achieving new highs. The PCB sector also performed well, with Baoding Technology hitting its sixth daily limit in nine days. The power sector showed strength, with several companies hitting consecutive daily limits. Meanwhile, the chip industry experienced volatile gains, and lab-grown diamond stocks surged. Conversely, liquor stocks faced a correction, with several key players declining. The Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.12%, and the Shenzhen Component Index increased by 0.8%.
