Symbiotic has launched Liquid Lane, a new liquidity network designed to offer near-instant stablecoin redemptions for Real World Asset (RWA) funds and private lending. This innovation addresses the current redemption wait time, which can extend up to 180 days. Liquid Lane employs a Request for Quote (RFQ) mechanism to direct investor redemption requests to a network of compliant market makers. The successful bidder initially processes the redemption in USDC, with the issuer finalizing the settlement in the background. The network's redemption spread and lending revenue are allocated to a shared collateral pool. Initial participants in Liquid Lane include Fasanara Capital, managing mGLOBAL, and issuer Midas. Symbiotic's infrastructure currently supports over $550 million in assets, highlighting its significant role in the RWA market.
