The guidelines, announced on June 8, detail how developers can authorize access through the "Mini-Program Management Backend - AI Capabilities". Developers have the option to choose between automatic mode, which allows WeChat AI to read and analyze mini-program source code, and development mode, which lets developers tailor their programs to specific business needs before approval. Both modes can be activated simultaneously without disrupting existing services. However, the system is currently in internal testing, meaning it is not yet available to the general public.
