Bitcoin.com and Verse Community Approve 86 Billion VERSE Token Burn

Bitcoin.com and the Verse community have approved the Verse Mega Burn Initiative, which will result in the burning of 86.2 billion VERSE tokens. This decision was made through two governance proposals that received overwhelming support, with 99.99% voting in favor. The burn will decrease the total supply of VERSE tokens by 38–42% over the next four years, with an immediate reduction of 15–17% planned between October and December 2025. The initiative is designed to enhance token scarcity, boost holder confidence, and invigorate market participation.
