Gem Wallet has introduced cross-chain swaps for Tether (USDT) on the TRON network using the THORChain protocol. This feature allows users to exchange USDT (TRC-20) for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies directly within the wallet. The swap fee is set at 0.5%, which is more competitive compared to Ledger's 1.15% and Trust Wallet's 0.66% fees. The wallet facilitates cross-chain trading across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, and other blockchains through THORChain, enabling native swaps without the need for wrapped tokens. Users maintain full control over their assets, as the wallet does not require KYC verification or store private keys, ensuring a secure and private trading experience.
