Ripple and Immunefi have announced a collaborative 'Attackathon' with a $200,000 prize pool to identify vulnerabilities in the proposed XRPL Lending Protocol. The initiative invites global security researchers to participate, with the educational phase starting on October 13 and the bug bounty period running from October 27 to November 29. The protocol aims to introduce pooled lending and underwriting credit on the XRP Ledger, pending a validator vote later this year. If approved, it will automate processes from issuance to collection, enhance global liquidity access, and improve risk and compliance integration for developers and institutions.
