Oracle to Deploy 50,000 AMD AI Chips in 2026

Oracle's cloud infrastructure division announced plans to deploy 50,000 AMD artificial intelligence chips starting in the second half of 2026. The deployment will utilize AMD's Instinct MI450 chip, which was released earlier this year. This chip is AMD's first AI chip capable of being assembled into a rack-scale system, enabling 72 chips to work in unison to support advanced AI algorithm development and deployment.
