Yei Finance Token Soars 245% on Launch, TVL Reaches $229M

Yei Finance's CLO token experienced a remarkable 245% surge in market capitalization, reaching $61 million following its launch on Sei and BNB Smart Chain. The token's fully diluted valuation is now $475 million, with 13% of its total supply in circulation. Yei Finance, the leading DeFi protocol on Sei, boasts a total value locked (TVL) of $229 million, accounting for 47% of the ecosystem's liquidity. This growth is largely attributed to Yei Lend, which holds a TVL of $227 million. In trading activity, Yei Swap recorded a weekly volume of $16 million, slightly surpassing Sailor's $12.4 million. Despite these gains, the SEI token remains 80% below its March 2024 peak of $0.22, indicating room for potential recovery in the market.
