Safello Secures MiCA Authorization from Swedish Regulator

Safello AB has been granted authorization by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority as a crypto-asset service provider under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation. This approval allows Safello to offer transfer services, custody and administration, execution and reception/transmission of orders, and exchanges of crypto-assets for funds and other crypto-assets. MiCA, effective since December 2024, introduces stringent consumer protection and compliance standards. Safello, with over 410,000 users and listed on Nasdaq First North Growth Market, is the first Swedish company to obtain a MiCA-compliant CASP license, marking a significant milestone in its regulatory compliance journey.
