The fourth ETHShanghai conference is set to commence on October 18, 2025, in Shanghai, featuring a hackathon and a main summit. The hackathon, running from October 18 to 21, will focus on AI × ETH, DeFi x Infra, and Public Goods x Open Source, offering a total prize pool of $15,000. Approximately 200 developers will be selected from over 500 applicants, with 30–40 projects expected to be incubated on-site. Winners will receive funding, incubation support, and ecosystem connections, with the champion team invited to present at the Wanxiang Blockchain Summit. The main summit on October 22 will host over 40 industry leaders, including Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin and Ethereum Foundation’s new co-CEOs Hsiao-Wei Wang and Tomasz Stańczak. Discussions will cover Ethereum scaling, modular ecosystems, developer growth, and long-term security.
