Orochi Network has secured an additional $8 million in funding, increasing its total capital raised to $20 million. This funding round saw participation from MEXC Ventures, Plutus VC, Bolts Capital, Ant Labs, and the Ethereum Foundation. The funds will be used to develop a verifiable data infrastructure aimed at tokenizing real-world assets (RWAs) in compliance with regulatory standards, such as the EU's Digital Operations Resilience Directive (DORA). In conjunction with the funding announcement, Orochi Network launched its zkDatabase mainnet, which has already processed over 700 million zero-knowledge proof requests. The network has also formed a zkDatabase Alliance with more than 120 companies and projects, including Plume, Lumia, and Nexus. This infrastructure is designed to provide institutions with audit-level data verification capabilities, supporting the integration of RWA, AI, and Web3 technologies. Founder Chiro Hiro emphasized Orochi's role as a foundational element in Southeast Asia's compliant data systems.
