Renzo Protocol Proposes $REZ Token Buyback to Reduce Supply

Renzo Protocol has initiated a Snapshot vote on Proposal RP-6 (A), aiming to repurchase 10% of the $REZ token supply using up to 100% of the protocol's revenue over the next six months. This strategic move follows a successful test buyback of 105,013,081 $REZ, which accounts for 1.05% of the total supply, conducted since October 8th. The proposal reflects the Renzo community's earlier suggestion to reduce the circulating supply of $REZ tokens by 10% through buybacks and destruction. The outcome of the vote will determine the implementation of this significant supply reduction strategy.
