Velo Protocol announced today that it is developing Velo Orbit Plus, a super app that serves as an integrated digital platform designed to reshape how users and businesses interact with tokenized assets, stablecoins, and real-world value transfers. Orbit Plus marks a significant milestone in the Velo roadmap, co-developed with EVOLVE and Lightnet Group, driving the next generation of real-world asset (RWA) tokenization and settlement.
Driving the RWA Tokenization Ecosystem
Orbit Plus will serve as the gateway to the rapidly growing RWA ecosystem, jointly developed by EVOLVE, Velo, and Lightnet. The three parties are working together to bring real estate, undervalued financial assets, and next-generation sustainable infrastructure—including green energy and two-wheeler EV charging networks—on-chain.
This initiative starts in the Southeast Asia "Belt and Road" corridor, aiming to unlock liquidity for long-illiquid assets and broaden participation channels for global investors.

Orbit Plus will directly connect with Velo’s PayFi network, enabling real-time settlement and frictionless conversion between tokenized RWAs, stablecoins, and fiat currencies. This will ensure that enterprises, institutional partners, and retail users can move value freely across the ecosystem without barriers.
Cross-Border Payment Solutions
Leveraging Lightnet’s licensed global payment infrastructure and digital wallet technology, Orbit Plus will also support:
- Large-scale, low-cost cross-border settlements
- OTC trading of RWAs
