Ethereum is preparing to implement the Glamsterdam and Heze-Bogota upgrades in 2026, aimed at enhancing Layer 1 scalability and fostering Web3 adoption. The Glamsterdam fork, scheduled for mid-2026, will introduce block access lists and ePBS, significantly increasing gas limits to 100–200 million and expanding data blocks to over 72 per block. Following this, the Heze-Bogota fork will enhance privacy and censorship resistance. KuCoin has announced its continued support for advanced trading features in line with Ethereum's roadmap. The exchange assures users of its robust security protocols as they engage with these upcoming upgrades.
