Polygon Foundation to Implement Lisovo Hardfork on March 4

Polygon Foundation has announced the upcoming Lisovo hardfork, set to activate before block height 83,756,500 on the mainnet, expected around March 4 at 14:00 UTC. This upgrade will introduce several enhancements, including subsidizing gas costs for inter-agent payments (PIP-82), improving smart contract compatibility with Count Leading Zeros (CLZ), and enhancing support for Passkey wallets. Additionally, it will offer a more flexible fee adjustment mechanism and improve transaction transmission reliability and verification. Node operators are advised to upgrade Bor to v2.6.0 or Erigon to v3.4.0.
