Eightco Holdings Secures $125 Million in Funding Led by Bitmine

Eightco Holdings has successfully raised $125 million in a funding round aimed at bolstering its investments in blockchain and artificial intelligence. The round was spearheaded by Bitmine, which contributed $75 million, while Ark Invest and Kraken's parent company Payward each invested $25 million. As part of the deal, Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee will join Eightco's board of directors, and Ark Invest's chief futurist Brett Winton will serve as a board advisor. In addition to the funding announcement, Eightco disclosed a $50 million strategic investment in OpenAI and a $25 million investment in Beast Industries, owned by YouTuber MrBeast. The news of these developments led to an immediate 12% increase in Eightco's stock price on Thursday.
