Former Tsinghua Professor Shares Early Bitcoin Investment Journey

Former Tsinghua University associate professor Hu Yilin shared his early Bitcoin investment experiences on the Sea Talk podcast. In 2013, while pursuing his doctorate at Peking University, Hu purchased Bitcoin for the first time, spending 70 yuan when the price was 1,100 yuan per Bitcoin. Despite an immediate price drop, he adopted a strategy of buying more as prices fell, acquiring Bitcoin at a low of 300 yuan each. Hu further invested after receiving a national scholarship, driven by his interest in media philosophy.
