The U.S. Central Command announced it will enforce a maritime blockade on all sea traffic to and from Iranian ports starting April 13 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time. This action will affect all vessels entering and exiting Iranian ports in the Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman. However, the blockade will not impact vessels traveling to and from non-Iranian ports in the Strait of Hormuz. Mariners are advised to monitor Navigational Warnings and use Bridge-to-Bridge Channel 16 for communication in the affected areas.
